Stator for Bornemann E2H 4500 progressive cavity pumps / mono pumps
Stator for Bornemann E2H 4500 mono pumps / progressive cavity pumps
Our stators are made in Germany. They are available in various materials (elastomers) and with dark or light elastomers. The standard stator for Bornemann E2H 4500 is black on the inside, made of NBR material and does not yet have a hole for a sensor (‘TSE hole’).
Drawing position: 22
Please select which version you need. If you need a special version or are not sure: Please write a short note in the enquiry basket. Of course, you can also contact us on our spare parts hotline and we will be happy to help you straight away.
Our recommendation: After dismantling the pump, also check the condition of the rotor. Does it have any scoring or areas of chipping in the layer of chrome? Are there other indications of wear? Depending on the medium you are pumping (e.g. toothpaste or media with a lot of solids), a rotor can wear out more quickly. It is best to buy the stator and rotor from a single source. This will ensure that they are perfectly matched. For a complete service, the joints and drive shaft should also be checked and replaced if necessary. Before reassembly, also check the large gasket (drawing position 25) between the pump casing and the bearing casing: Is it cracked or otherwise damaged?
Our tip: Is your stator wearing out relatively quickly? Perhaps it is due to the medium you are pumping. The inner material of the stators (‘elastomer’) is differently suitable for the various media. – Please contact us. We will work with you to find the best elastomer for your application!
Options
The elastomeris available in black colour (this is the standard) or in light colour. The light colour is used to pump light-coloured lacquers or light-coloured food. This prevents the slightest abrasion of the elastomer compound from changing the colour of the medium. Regardless of the elastomer colour, all our stators are food safe.
TSE drilling: This is a predrilled hole for screwing in a temperature sensor. The temperature sensor can be used to switch off the pump before it gets too hot. This happens, for example, when it runs dry. We are happy to supply the stator with a suitable temperature sensor.
Inlet cone: Our stators are available with a conical inlet cone. This achieves better suction behaviour. Our recommendation: The surcharge is low and the pump sucks better. In some applications, the power consumption of your pump will even be reduced!
