Fludyn BV 2.5 oil separator and bilge pump

Replaces a BV 2.5 progressing cavity pump / mono pump formerly manufactured by Blohm & Voss*, HDW* (Howaldtswerke Deutschland), and later by SKF*. These pumps have a compact block design and are typically installed vertically in a ship’s hull. They are frequently used as pumps in oil-water separators. In doing so, they pump the bilge water into the separators and then back out to sea.

Capacity: 2.5 m³/h

Our pumps have identical connection dimensions, are usually fitted with a suitable geared motor and can be installed directly as a replacement pump. Fludyn oil separator pumps are Made in Germany and are hand-built by our qualified mechanics and technicians. They are used worldwide and are characterized by high robustness and a long service life.

Options

Available with a suitable geared motor (as a “unit”), without a motor (“bareshaft”), or fully assembled on a base plate. Our customers typically order this pump type with a motor. Therefore, the “as unit” variant is pre-selected.
